On 25 November, 2022, within the framework of the GREENUS Project, in order to provide professional knowledge for students majoring in Environmental Technology & Management and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology held a Talkshow with the guests from INSEE Ecocycle Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City Urban Environment Company Limited (CITENCO), an associate partner of the GREENUS Project.

At the Talkshow, the guests made a 60-90 minute presentation about the profession and future career orientation for the students in environmental sector. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Nhi – Talent Development Team Leader, Human Resources Department, INSEE Vietnam introduced the company, internship opportunities, jobs and orientation for environmental engineering students. Ms. Hoang Lan Anh, permanent member of ISO Department – CITENCO Company presented a career development roadmap for solid waste management and environmental system management in the context of a circular economy. After the presentation, students asked many questions related to job qualifications, practising certificates, English proficiency, requirements for professional knowledge, salary policy, remuneration, etc. Students also wondered whether it is possible for a student in environmental management to apply for the position of an environmental engineer. Since the two guests are from public and private enterprises in the field of environmental engineering and management, they can provide a lot of useful information for students. The Talkshow took place in a friendly atmosphere. Students were provided and consulted with necessary information to prepare for the early years of their careers.
